Since 1984, Interior Designers Institute (IDI) has offered its students options that are simply unavailable at other design colleges. Here, flexibility is key. You may choose from our Certificate or Associate of Arts Degree Programs in Interior Design. Or you may continue into our Bachelor of Arts Degree Program that is accredited by the Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA) – formerly FIDER. At IDI, the choice is yours and in our state-of-the-art facility you’ll learn from a faculty that reads like a who’s who in interior design. The college also offers student placement assistance to students at all levels.

Location:
IDI is centrally located in Newport Beach, California, close to important design and entertainment centers as well as the Pacific Ocean.

Admissions:
Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent (GED). A background or training in art or design is not required.

Financial Aid:
IDI has an excellent Financial Aid Department to help students going into the degree program determine their eligibility for federal loans and grants.

Accreditation:
Interior Designers Institute is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology (ACCSCT). Additionally, our B.A. Program in Interior Design is accredited by CIDA (Council for Interior Design Accreditation – formerly FIDER).
